Karl Dyrli

Associate Pastor of Worship

Karl Dyrli was born and raised in Tolland, CT in one of the founding families of Storrs Community Church in Storrs, CT. There he received excellent discipleship through teaching and participation in the ministry of the church. Karl first played the trumpet as part of the worship service when he was in junior high, accompanying his mother, the church pianist. For several years he was also heavily involved in leadership at Deerfoot Lodge, a Christian camp for boys in the Adirondack mountains.

Upon entering Messiah College as a math major in 1990, Karl continued to develop a deep love for the local church, and also began to sense a call to worship ministry. He began playing guitar and piano, and sang and directed a music ministry group focused on facilitating worship in the local church. Karl met his wife Quinn and after their wedding they moved to southeast Massachusetts in 1994. There, Karl served as a Christian high school teacher and Music and Worship Pastor from 1994 until July of 2011. During that time Karl and Quinn also welcomed five wonderful sons into their lives.

In August of 2011 Karl started as the Associate Pastor for Worship Ministries at Fellowship Church. He is so grateful for the opportunity to serve here and to devote himself full time to the work of church ministry. His greatest joy and passion is to draw close to the Lord Jesus Christ through corporate worship, for this is what the Church will do for all eternity. Karl holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary.
