Focus on the Heart: Heart Care ABCs

Ladies, in this discipleship course you’ll learn how to minister effectively and compassionately to others and comfort those who are hurting! This the second class in the Focus on the Heart series but is open to all women with no prerequisite class required.

In this interactive course we learn how to comfort those who are hurting and grow in our relationships with God and each other. We do this by learning how to listen from our hearts, correctly identify emotions, increase our awareness of times where our emotions don’t match the circumstances, and apply God’s truth to the situation. We explore the Biblical perspective on suffering to help us accept what we don’t understand and learn four ways to comfort those who are experiencing emotional pain. The goal is to become more spiritually and emotionally healthy so that we can love God completely, love ourselves correctly, and love others compassionately.
